Moss To Patriots; Gordon Surpasses Earnhardt

So Randy Moss ended up with the New England Patriots? Think he'll make a nice battery mate to Tom Brady? I think so. If Moss walks Belichick's straight line (and that's a big if), the Patriots are going to have a very good year.

On the NASCAR front, many are chastising Jeff Gordon for surpassing Dale Earnhardt's win total (and for flying a #3 flag last week when he tied Earnhardt on the all-time win list). Gordon's move was classy (just as Dale Jr. described it). And, like him or hate him, Gordon deserves some respect for the professionalism and consistency he's brought to auto racing's highest levels of competition.

Moss to the Patriots? He was supposed to end up in Green Bay. The Pats got a steal and will reap the benefits this year. The only thing more dangerous than Brady to Moss would have been Favre to Moss.

Is Packers GM Ted Thompson proving himself to be the idiot's idiot, or is he a true visionary who will rebuild the Packers into a perennial contender? At the end of last season I began to believe in his vision, but after this draft I'm about as confused as Thompson looked when he was booed in the Atrium as he attempted to explain our first round pick.

Does anyone know anything about any of the Packers draft picks? Even the local media was stumped.
